  1. Who cares
  2. just looked at Vaughns minor league numbers, i forget he didnt play at all in 2020. Vaughn has a total of ~60 games played in the minor leagues. Thats it. He never developed and his career looks like a big turd. Its beyond me how anybody would want to be drafted by the White Sox. I'd instruct my agent to hang up on Hahn if he came calling. Would be better to take the year and try again.
  3. Had he just ran the team correctly and gone for first place all these years he would have made way more money? I don't understand the logic.
  4. This should be pinned
  5. Agreed, but the pitching right now is why we aren't in the A's/Royals tier. They have been stellar since May 1st.
  6. Pitching has been studly since early May
  7. Hey Jimenez hit the ball in the air!
  8. averaging just under 10 pitches an inning on offense
  9. we are doomed now
  10. 17 pitches, 6 outs just hilarious s%*# from this poor poor offense
  11. Its the top of the second and no gamethread, so starting one.
  12. When your organizational approach is "just tell me how fast he throws" this is what you get.
  13. Do we even have one? I feel like you can look at a team like the Reds and figure it out easily. Watching about 5 games of the Reds (my new NL team) it stuck out easily: Aggression on contact and on the basepaths. The Rays are patient and get the ball in the air. Same with the Giants. Texas built their offense on mashing the ball for power. Cleveland has a bad offense but you can see what they are building which is contact and speed. We saw how the Marlins are building around Arraez. What did Hahn do? In 2020 I thought it was EV as everyone in the lineup DESTROYED the ball. I thought with an increase in LA we would see what Rangers fans are currently, except more. Why didnt they stick to this philosophy? The 2023 Sox just look so lost. There doesnt appear to be any goal or philosophy. What is this offense supposed to be?
  14. Nothing funnier than a hype video for a starting pitcher with an ERA of 6
  15. first in ground balls
  16. im still surprised people spend money on the team considering how much bashing the FO does on Sox fans, especially after Jerry's second place, and '4th is a good finish' quotes.
  17. reiks12 replied to WBWSF's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Ohtani would never play for the White Sox
  18. Awful. I forgot about Heuer but I hope this isn't it for him.
  19. yes it did, Sox had the city by the balls and fell flat on their faces. Never recovered. Imagine where this franchise would be had they secured 3-4 years of good play following their WS. Most baseball fans now think of the Sox as a AAA team no different than the Louisville Bats.
  20. Sox have been irrelevant since 2005, and before that the late 90s when Thomas was a national fan favorite.
  21. absolutely pathetic
  22. among other things?
  23. I dont know, but his first season made me so excited with the way he easily K'ed everyone. So sad to see another young players career likely ended by this piss poor org
  24. I am surprised he hasnt attracted more national attention seeing his name and story so far. If he was a Yankee he would be the talk of baseball
  25. Grandal is high as f***
