AJ Hinch blows it by not having a no doubles defense.

Luis Robert to the IL
There is some value in keeping a player with the team and allowing the rehab to take p;lace under the trainers and staff traveling with the team. The IL does not always make sense for a minor injury like a sprained wrist. There are good points to be made on both sides but at teh sned of the season, I want Luis on the field for every game possible.

Ken Rosenthal: Stay Away Tony
It's untimely. Get it?

Ken Rosenthal: Stay Away Tony
TLR is not and was not going to return with heart issues and a new pacemaker installed, even if he wanted to. Therefore "fire TLR "is a moot point and the article is a distraction for a team in the midst of a late play-off run. Really, give up the TLR nonsense and move on. It has become a distraction.

Eloy
Eloy is a better and faster outfielder than Sheets or Vaughn, which isn't saying he is a good outfielder.
-
Eloy
Eloy injured his hamstring running to first base. His other major injury was a compete fluke, reaching over the wall to try to catch a ball. He can easily avoid doing that again but no player is immune from injury. As far as not being an asset, well you have your own opinion and I'll just say I disagree.

Eloy
A lot of men, especially those with a big chest and torso tend to box out with age. I think Vaughn is going to end up being a beast like Jim Thome.

AL Central Standings Thread
If Eloy, Robert and TA were in the line-up together for most of the year, we probably win the Division. It is not hard to imagine that when you see what Eloy alone has done since the All Star break. Now Eloy needs someone other than Sheets hitting behind him to make sure he sees a few fast balls. Similarly, having Robert in the line-up instead of Leury for most of the year would have changed a lot of games. The Sox were not able to put the band back together for any length of time this year.
-
Eloy
If Eloy is exclusively deployed as a DH he will only become more prone to injury. That is inevitable for a DH who no longer has to run much or stay in shape for that role yet is asked to come off the bench cold 5 times a game. Eloy needs to play LF for at least half the games. He's only 26 years old..

9/9 White Sox @ Athletics
They can't win them all, but I know what you mean. I have been impressed with Romy G the past few series. His D is excellent and he has proven to be a clutch hitter with occasional power. There is no reason to put Leury or Harrison at second. If/When TA comes back, a decision will have to be made about where to deploy Elvis. I am not sure what I would do to be honest.

Guardians got walked off. Great day for our Chicago White Sox.- 9/6 Sox @ Mariners GT, 8:40PM CT, NBCSC
Vaughn's fade has nothing to do with sore legs. It has to do with Vaughn not being able to lay off outside sliders with two strikes on him. He will get better at that over time...but probably not in time for this stretch run.- 9/6 Sox @ Mariners GT, 8:40PM CT, NBCSC
Uh, he was in position to make a tag. - 9/7 - White Sox @ Mariners 3:10CST
