  1. A lot of reactive, vindictive, self-absorbed one-upmanship here, as usual.
  2. Little personal jab.
  3. Oh my god how clever you are...and funny.
  4. Oh how you amuse yourself.
  5. "Robert has been sidelined by injuries to his left thumb three times, most recently jamming it on a head-first slide into second base on a stolen base attempt during an intrasquad game Saturday. Robert’s aggressiveness and speed — not to mention his power — are what make him an exciting player and the 40th-ranked prospect per MLB Pipeline."
  6. Ha ha ha..
  7. Sheets/Vaughn or Sheets/Burger Lefty/Righty platoon at 1B, DH or RF. All of these guys are in the line-up for their bats so they get substituted for in late innings when the Sox have a lead.
  8. Add Grandal and Luis Robert to the injury risk calculus. Robert's speed coupled with his dives and slides will hopefully be safe. A more conservative approach on the bases and in the field should cut down on the risk.
  9. All he would have needed was a walk if TA got a pass..
  10. Tim should have had the take sign on 3-0....and he swung at a sh1t pitch. Very frustrating game filled with what-if's.
  11. Burger looked liked he did in that prospect youtube video when he was in college where he stumbled over his feet a few times. I feel bad for him. but failing to get the runner at first ended up being a key play in the game. Vaughn in Left and Burger at third is not gold glove defense which is fine, if they hit, but they didn't today. Tony could have made a few different decisions including not putting Crochet in there for the extra inning.. He is not a high leverage pitcher at this point. Maybe next year.
  12. Short choppy steps. He is the slowest player on the team.
  13. Vaughn playing deep to prevent balls going over his head but he is way too slow to get to balls like that. No errors assigned when balls like that drop in, but that could have been costly with both runners running.
  14. At some point, personal attacks no longer add anything and become distracting. Not sure what you mean by immature criticism, but I suppose teenagers can post here. Oh well, I am going to disengage with this foolery and return for the DHer later today. Proceed.
  15. No "TLR love fest"...just pointing out how repetitive and unwarranted criticism, ageism, and snarky comments (or in one case an avatar) have turned juvenile and petty.
  16. Oh, I didn't know you felt that way and are even predicting injury.
  17. The notion that Cardinal fans or Cub fans or any fans decide who gets traded is absurd. I'm not sure why any true White Sox fan would not want Yadi for the stretch run instead of Collins and Zavala...if Yaz cannot come back and catch. Yadi is a gamer and a winner. You have to know Tony would want him *if* Yaz can't come back.
  18. If you want positivity start by removing the degrading image of TLR avatar.
  19. If Sheets isn't that valuable then he will not be a linchpin in any trade.
  20. Sox have gone to great lengths to get a LH bat with power in the past;. i.e., Griffey Jr, Thome, Dunn, LaRoach. I am not suggesting that Sheets can be on par with any of them, especially HOF hitters, but he is a LH bat with power, and that plays in the major league. He also appears to have a decent eye at the plate and good plate coverage. Lamb has had a few clutch hits...but so has Sheets. Sheets looks dangerous when he comes top the plate. All things considered, I would keep Sheets and DFA Lamb. I would not trade Vaughn, Sheets or Burger until they get a chance to show what they can do this year. Then you at least have a better idea as to their trade value versus their value to the team. Right now it is possible that they are all somewhat overrated but after a year in the league, they all might turn into special players.
  21. The Sox had high expectations for Lucroy early in Spring but he looked like sh1t so they released him. I doubt they pick him up now unless it is for minor league depth. If the Cards fall back in their division they might make Yadi available. He still has what it takes for play-off baseball. Man would that be awesome.
  22. Boom sha-ka- laka night.
  23. Fvk them up good.
  24. F vk em up good ! @@#$%^
