  1. Cleveland / Seattle game going into bottom of the 11th. Guardians can still choke.
  2. Players are demoralized and so are the fans. This is so hard for me to watch as a long time Sox fan who is not going to be around to see another rebuild.
  3. I think TLR probably doesn't want to come back. Hahn should get fired and the new Manager should get to pick his coaching staff, which should not include McEwing, Boston, Mennechino or the entire training staff.
  4. That Varsho catch on a hop was ridiculous. That ball probably goes to the wall when a player tries to catch it on a short hop running toward it and diving. That was actually poor judgment by Varsho that worked out for him and kept a run from scoring. Meanwhile, Romy's ball was a foot or two from going out. Abreu just needed a touch more oomph on the line drive to the gap. Sox seem cursed this season and I am saying that as someone who is kind of agnostic about such things. Almost every damn close call or break seems to go against us. Engel missing a routine fly last night that cost a game? WTF?
  5. Orioles made an error that cost them a run but not the game. Sox are snake bit this year. It's hard to explain but Ozzie had one of the best takes on it. He opined that if a team is scoring a lot of runs, errors and misplays do not cost that many games. The Sox lose a lot of close games because they are in a lot of them because they can't blow out too many opponents. These close games without much offense get harder to watch , especially when the Sox blow so many of them.
  6. The missed foul.ball was strike one. Then Liam threw a fastball for strike two. Then Hendriks hung a high off-speed pitch to a kid that never hit a major league HR.
  7. Fvk Hendriks
  8. Baltimore has a legit Closer. We had no chance against that guy. Meanwhile, Hendriks gives it up on that kids first career HR
  9. You need a Closer that rises to the occasion in the biggest games. Not Hendriks.
  10. Liam Hendriks can't give up another 9th inning HR in that series...but he did. Dude is all or nothing.
  11. Intentional walk please
  12. Intentional walk.
  13. Should have walked him.
  14. Nice game and fun to watch. I loved Moncada's double play and the way Graveman reacted as well as Gio and the guys in the dugout
  15. Yea (spittin' ) screw every anyone that makes a prediction that doesn't come about.
  16. Luck is a huge element in sports, especially in close contests. An inch, a bad bounce, or a couple of long balls that fall just short of being home runs. One bad hanging pitch driven out for a 3 run home run...one of just 5 hits in the game.
  17. Sox have had the worst luck this year. O's get 5 hits...one is a 3 run homer....against Cease.
  18. Tough loss to a team that has been playing very well, especially at home. Camden walls are a joke since they changed the dimensions. Two balls hit to Left Center by Seby and Robert would have been HR in most parks.
  19. Come on Vaughny ! Hit a gap-er to Left Center.
  20. They have both missed a ton of games this season so it really isn't fair to characterize them as sub 20 HR guys.
  21. Hung one bad. Cease has to get tough now.
