RF options are bleak...any other ideas?
Blake Rutherford will probably end up RF starter in 2021-2022. He's the youngest best hitting prospect of the bunch. BR started out real bad at AA, but he's killing it now. Has shown the ability to adapt at the toughest jump in baseball. If he continues like this for the rest of the year, he'll make the majors as an August 2020 call up.

6/15 Games
I think it's nothing that can't be fixed with .5 milligrams of lorazepam administered 1 hour before each outing. My 87 year old mother in law takes them for her nerves. P.S. I'm almost not kidding.

Sox & Nats, 6/4/19, Rey & Strasburg
Has any one noticed how well Yolmer is playing? He's been back at 2nd long enough to knock off the rust and it shows. Also showing some patience at the plate.

***Day 1 MLB Draft Thread***
watched a little Vaughn tape today. It's hard to drop the thick part of the bat on the ball with lift. He can do it in his sleep.

When will Luis Robert be promoted again?
He's ready for the bigs right now. If the Sox are going for it, Madrigal will be bumped up to AA in the next 7-10 days.

White Sox Winner (6-1 homestand)
Just savoring the moment right now. Maybe our irrelevance might be ending. Starting pitching needs reinforcement. It is spelled CEASE!!!

Sox & Tribe, 6/2/19, Gio & Plesac
It's Cease time now. get his feet wet while we prepare for 2020. If LG is close to this(nobody is this good) going forward, we will compete next year. Damn the torpedoes!

6/2 Games
His twitter feed makes it sound like he's ready to play June 2nd. Either that or his favorite soccer team plays June 2nd. I couldn't tell which.

6/2 Games
interesting guy pitching for kanny today. Sam Long, 23 yrs. old reclamation project. Didn't pitch last year I'm assuming because of injury. Pitched well in 2017. This is one thing the Sox have done well at in the past. Pick some guy off the scrap heap and revive his career.

He'll have to do a comb over.

2019 MLB draft thread
It just dawned on me who Vaughn reminds me of. Steve Garvey with more patience. Garvey was an outstanding hitter who only looked really good because of dodger stadium robbing him or 5-10 homers a year. His only flaw was a lack of patience. He was also a real good 1st baseman, even at only 5'10".

2019 MLB draft thread
If Vaughn is good quickly, The line up might be: 1 Madrigal 6 Anderson 2 Robert 7 Burger/Collins 3 Jimenez 8 McCann/Collins 4 Vaughn 9 Leury/Gonzalez 5 Moncada Sox might score 1000 runs a year for a long time.

Colome remains with White Sox, who always had ample interest in him
The Sox should offer Kimbrel 25 million for the last 100 games. Tack on a 3 year option 15-20 million per. After that tell whoever he is traded to, they'll pick up this years salary and the new team can decide on the option. Kimbrel for free for 2 months is worth a better prospect than having to pay him.

Leury García player value question
Solid defense at 2b,ss and cf. real good bench piece on a good team. Can pinch hit and pinch run. Replace a hit first type in late innings with a lead. i'd bet a lot of teams would want him. I think he's only 28, so will be productive for a while yet.
