All Star Jose Abreu
I think that will sound like an insult to Abreu. DH/1B types can be found on the cheap, But he's been real good for a long time and I honestly don't think the Sox will play hard ball with him.

Crowded at 1B
Sox might have a log jam at 1B and DH in a couple of years. Gavin Sheets is actually starting to hit for power, while keeping his plate discipline intact. With Abreu, Vaughn and Zack Collins already in the mix, the Pale Hose might have a good kind of problem on their hands. I sure hope Eloy improves enough defensively to stay in the outfield.

The Acceptance Phase of James Shields and Tatis Jr.
No, but the comedian in the film does examine the stages of death until finally accepting his fate.

2nd Tier Palehose
alan bannister. good center fielder. too bad he was playing short stop at the time.

An unmitigated disaster
Too pessimistic on Sheets, Rutherford and Gonzalez. mostly Rutherford. P.S. No one can control injuries. Although, it is a little bit nutty just how bad it's been.

Andrew Vaughn Signs
Balta is once again the voice of reason.

Andrew Vaughn Signs
I know, and it's not wrong to do this. In this case it seems like a waste. Best hitter in college in a long time. 21 years old. He should be asked to do more than 19 year old Bryce Bush.

ALL THAT JAZZ is one of my favorite movies.

Andrew Vaughn Signs
If the guy is a generational hitter, he shouldn't spend a day in Kanny. A few days in Arizona then straight to W-S.

Jimmy Lambert
Do all the TJS have to do with guys being bigger than 40 years ago? Muscles and bones are larger. Do the tendons become less durable with the added stress larger size adds? Do tendons lose some flexibility if they become too large?

Ian Hamilton - Broken Face
Sounds career ending. Very bad break. Best wishes Ian.

2019 MiLB catch all thread
Good for him. It seems like he's been in AA for 10 years.

Favorite Personal White Sox Player Interaction
Sammy Sosa waved to my wife and I from outside the clubhouse at old Comiskey. Ivan (bubbling) Calderon stiffed us.

Is Ricky the worst manager in White Sox history?
Yesterday he let Yonder bat in the eighth against a good lefty with the game on the line. How do you think that turned out?

RF options are bleak...any other ideas?
Blake Rutherford will probably end up RF starter in 2021-2022. He's the youngest best hitting prospect of the bunch. BR started out real bad at AA, but he's killing it now. Has shown the ability to adapt at the toughest jump in baseball. If he continues like this for the rest of the year, he'll make the majors as an August 2020 call up.

6/15 Games
I think it's nothing that can't be fixed with .5 milligrams of lorazepam administered 1 hour before each outing. My 87 year old mother in law takes them for her nerves. P.S. I'm almost not kidding.

Sox & Nats, 6/4/19, Rey & Strasburg
Has any one noticed how well Yolmer is playing? He's been back at 2nd long enough to knock off the rust and it shows. Also showing some patience at the plate.

***Day 1 MLB Draft Thread***
watched a little Vaughn tape today. It's hard to drop the thick part of the bat on the ball with lift. He can do it in his sleep.
