Alex has been killing it at AA for a month. He also played very well in 2016 before injuries took a toll last season. What will he become in the future? He's 23, which leaves enough time for more development. Is he going to be a good 4th outfielder or an everyday player? His skill set reminds me quite a bit of Alex Gordon. With as many out- fielders as the Sox have he might get lost in the shuffle. Could end up a Rule #5 steal for some other club.

Please don't waste Nick Madrigals time playing at Kanny. He's better than that. Winston-Salem at least. Maybe Birmingham.

I'm not sure it would be stupid at all. The collective bargaining agreement ends in 1-2 years and you can't assume the deal will remain the same. I'd just as soon bring him and Kopech and Stevens up. It's well known madrigal has the best hit tool in the draft and probably the best eye. His defense is very good already. He also has the highest floor in the draft. He should be starting at the highest level. Winston Salem sounds about right to me. I don't think it would surprise any one if he was our starting 2B April 1 2020.

Manny Machado 3 homers in 1st 3 innings. Don't even remember the final score. I was finally able to convince my wife to leave in the 7th inning. Worst game I've ever seen In 50+ years. 1970 Sox were 56-106. These guys have a chance to be worse.

I really have a hard time fathoming how bad Baltimore and KC are. Every time it gets tough waiting for 2019-2020, think about how you would feel if our farm system were like theirs. Then we would be bad and with out hope.

The reason i'm not madder at Hahn is KW and Reinsdorf. All of the dumb moves reek of Williams trying to please JR and win now. When did Hahn actually start doing it his way? Did it start when he made Hostetler director of scouting? Every one of us has to admit when KW was in the draft room we were a joke. In the last 2-3 years we've made more good decisions than Kenny made in a decade.
