  1. I understand your parameters, but this list needs to have Giolito on it. With that said, I'd say Yaz. Yoan has at least played defense. Harrison was only supposed to be a guy, not a difference maker, Leury, well same thing. Engel is a 4th OF, Sheets and Pollock haven't been good, but not nearly as bad as Yaz. He's just been awful. Like the other guys are bad, but Yaz may be the worst player in baseball this year. Especially for a dude making the money.
  2. His presence isn't the problem. Its all the other guys that can neither hit nor field their position (Vaughn obviously isn't a problem either). Jose can hit and is at least competent in the field. Grandal can't do either. Why on Earth would you part ways with a good player for a terrible player? Well, I suppose, White Sox, that's why. Eloy, man. I don't know. I want to still love Eloy, but the one thing you know is that you can't count on him in any way. Again, replacing a guy that insists on playing everyday with a guy that can't run, swing, catch without hurting himself is bad policy. I can't say for sure, but he may also melt if he is left out in the rain, so that is something to consider as well.
  3. Man, it seems like no one in the organization knew they had to play baseball yesterday.
  4. Can you imagine how awful this offense would be without Jose?
  5. I guess if you spend half a billion dollars they expect results!
  6. ? Is this TA? Who else could it be if it isn't McGuire himself. It seems like this is too recent to be Keuchel.
  7. Hahaha, not even much of a courtesy turn out of the RF
  8. That's an approach I can get on board with.
  9. The scary part is, that's what everyone said about Eloy too...
  10. Well, hopefully Sosa gets some run here. And it isn't just the Leury show.
  11. I thought it was record by league. Worst to first in the AL, then worst to first in the NL. Or vice versa depending on the league doing the DFA-ing.
  12. It seemed to me like he had been kind of putting it together, so I was looking at his numbers, and they are mostly, pretty darn good. You'd like to see a higher BA (.266) and fewer Ks (104) and more BBs (23+15 HBP(Seems like a lot. hahah); but all in all some pretty good numbers. .792 OPS, 22 2B, 13 HR, 20 SB. Especially for a Sox prospect at AA. At least, it seems he isn't someone that should be dismissed as a guy that can contribute just yet.
  13. Yes and yes. Not discounted in my stomach though...hahaha.
  14. Once tried to do a dog every half inning with my brother. Not the dollar dogs. The better ones. With onions obviously. He went 6 innings. I went 6 1/2. Felt like garbage for days. Worth it for the win though.
  15. Well maybe I'm, naive or ignorant but what else was it? Did he get huge or something?
  16. Hahaha. He could work anything in. Man. So great. Anyways, 0-2.
