The down arrow on the Guaranteed Rate logo is perfect for this organization.

It just rolls off the tongue.

Who is guaranteed rate? Mortgage company?

Hahahahahahaha, is this not the worst name in MLB history? Oh my god, Guaranteed Rate Field aka Gauranteed Rate Field cause I GUARANTEE a lot of people misspell this word.

Vegas Whorehouse.

That's pretty bad, but still better the O.co.

Yes. Sounds like a pawn shop or company that airs late night predatory loans commericals.

Oh my God that logo is going to be all over our ballpark. You can't make this up. Wow.

What stadium name is worse?

Globe Life Stadium

All of them named after a product of some sort are all bad except Cincinnati

Petco, Progressive, Safeco, Wrigley, Citi, Tropicana, Target, Rogers, PNC, Miller, Coors, Comerica, Citizens, Chase, Busch and AT & T

They are all the same so what the hell difference does it make.

They would be named something if the money was right.

Also, I do not think the White Sox have anything to do with this as it is not their stadium as they lease it from the state of Illinois.

I also financed through them and they were awesome.

David Hochberg has got to be pissed.

Gauranteed Irate Field would also work.

I'm just calling it Comiskey again.

Yum Center is a great name

Yum Center is a great name. KFC Yum! Center isn't.

It also isn't home to a professional franchise in a major 4 sport.

True, but I wasn't restricting to pro sports. How about the SAC Kings with Sleep Train Arena?

HAHAHA That's GRate!

Honestly, just calling it Grate Field for short works okay.

Jokes have already started across the internet..."Guaranteed" mediocrity..."Guaranteed" not to make the playoffs...and the company logo (arrow pointing down is to funny for words...)

I wonder if the money must go towards the upkeep of the stadium or if it can be used for other purposes and I wonder how much the deal is worth.

I don't think this impacts the White Sox whatsoever as they do not own the stadium.

Figures name matches the ownership overall mentality.

Lol. Those names aren't bad. They're the norm. Companies sponsor stadiums. The White Sox just got the crappiest name with an oddly appropriate logo.

This xinfinity.......

This is just depressing

I will NEVER call it that. Will always be the Cell to me

This franchise is a f***ing joke. If I had a time machine I think I'd go back and make my father a Tigers fan or some s*** so I wouldn't have been raised on the White Sox.

I don't know man, somehow this seems like a step down. Maybe it's just the novelty and in a week it'll sound like every other corporate name.

But that down arrow logo is really something. That will be bad forever.

Maybe people will nickname it the Grate? As in "G. Rate?"

Really grasping at straws here. :(

To be fair, it's not even in the top two of most embarrassing days to be a Sox fan this season

Wow, this is f***ing sad. Some 3rd tier mortgage company/broker/business. Couldn't get Walgreens, a big time bank, airline, Fortune 500 co?? They end up with some shady mortgage broker??

No. I mean it is an awful name, but I can't blame a team for wanting to sell their park's naming rights.

Awful, just awful.

But the arrow pointing down is perfect.
