Garcia had a hilarious moment in RF on Saturday where he tracked a foul ball and just straight up missed it, it hit off his glove and went fair. Luckly called foul correctly.

If you touch a foul ball in foul territory and the ball lands fair, how is that not fair?

Man, I wish I lived in Chicago right now! Everyone going today have a safe drive and stay dry!

This weekends games should be nice to go to. Upper 60's and lower 70's by Sunday. Nice alternative to get my start of the season fix in since I cant get out of work today.

I did that last year and it always seems to pay off weatherwise. I don't have the data, but if sox always played first week in warm weather cities and played day games next week, it would take away a lot of the suck in april. It's still cold at night through april but nothing like this first week.

Well, hopefully they get the game in and nobody gets hurt.

Go Sox...pick to click...Asche--duh!

According to the game notes...

Jacob May will wear 32.

Melky Cabrera changed to 44.

Shhhhhhh...keep that down, you are going to insight rage around here with this kind of talk. That would be a dreadful season to most of the board.

Q - Cy Young

Abreu - MVP

Moncada-Giolito-Lopez go 1-2-3 in ROY voting.

Tickets are as low as $6 currently...really tempted to go.

Hold off another hour and they will pay you $6 to show up.

LOL. Upper tank corner seats are always available.

Lower level seats for the Opener have been sold out for some time.

Really? That's weird. I thought he always liked 53, even before he was with us.

from 05-08, he was 39, then 28. Since then he has been 53

Are we talking about the only way the Sox have a chance at a playoff game?

Bourjos wore 44 this spring. Maybe it's just a misprint on the game notes.

Hah. I liked Melky's 53.

Looks like it gets real nasty around 5. So they may get at least 5 ip

Looking at the forecast (I live nowhere near Chicago), I don't know why they are even bothering.

Yeah, they should have moved this game. Why torture everyone involved?

I dont understand the scheduling.

Why do they continue to have northern, non dome teams, host opening week?

Meanwhile you have Oakland hosting the Angels...

This is an age old question.
