Top 3 Things You’re Looking Forward To

Featured Replies

What’re the 3 things you’re most looking forward to when White Sox baseball starts up again? Here are mine:

1. Luis Robert. Having a guy like this make his debut doesn’t happen often. He is arguably the most exciting and talented prospect the White Sox have ever had. I am pumped to see him run out to CF for the first time.

2. Cease and Lopez. I think these guys are poised for big years.

3. Taxi Squad guys. I think it will he really interesting to see some of the prospects that will make the Taxi Squad. A guy like Andrew Vaughn getting big league AB’s is awesome to me, and maybe we see guys like Crochet and Stiever get some innings.

1. Luis Robert. Nuf said.

2. The return of Kopech.

3. Gio Gonzalez making his Sox debut...because it means they’re playing baseball.

1. Robert for sure

2. Cease, have him in all my fantasy teams (kopech is a close one here as well)

3. Progression of Eloy (progression of Moncada also)

1. White Sox Baseball

2. White Sox Baseball

3. White Sox Baseball

Robert

Kopech

Real Live baseball with so much of the Sox young talent on display.

YES

What happened to TA’s YouTube channel content?  All gone. I was digging that stuff in March; that’s the future of baseball

1) Luis Robert

2) Continued development of Moncada, Anderson, and Eloy

3) Kopech

Vaccine

1. Potential to win it all in a shortened season

2. Every game actually matters.

3. One of the young players has a superstar season (Moncada, Eloy or Robert imo)

1. Yermin Mercedes

2. Kopech

3. Seeing if Ricky can stop making boneheaded calls now that he has an improved team

The young guys (Robert, Kopech, Madrigal, Cease etc)

Carlos Rodon back and unleashed on foos

TA pissing off the opps

I am going to be thrilled to just have baseball.  This was a season I was looking forward to anyway,  but having nothing for 3 months means just seeing a game will be incredible.

Pretty much this, although Moncada & Cease are right there with Eloy for me.

3. Watching Yoan Moncada play baseball

The next full year that happens I think Moncada is going to go off.

I'm pretty sure I've seen every episode of Impractical Jokers 7 times now ?

It doesn't help that they replay the same ~30 or so episodes constantly! There are some old ones that are hilarious that rarely air. Regardless, I agree with you and Tony that Sox games will be a far better watch.

Another thing I'm excited for that I don't think has been explicitly mentioned is walks. Grandal and EE walk a ton, and Mazara is roughly league average in that regard (which is a huge upgrade over basically everyone else in the lineup). I also think that their presence will have a positive effect on Eloy, Robert, etc.

Glad you mentioned the Parrot trot. While I and most would give the obvious answers of Robert and the majority of young guys, the off season additions of Encarnacon Keuchel and especially Grandal will be huge , Too bad Hawk can't be around to tout the talents of the new Yaz.

1. Watching Moncada's swing, especially from the left side

2. Huge improvement from Cease and Lopez

3. Playing the Cubs

Agree! Some from 2014-2015 are hilarious but those are rarely played. I think in those there are more skits rather than 2 and then the punishment like now.

1. Robert

2. Kopech

3. Cease

Obviously wanting no steps back from Moncada, Eloy and Giolito.
