Solo Homerun offense, boys!

Can’t do much else with the lineup Ricky put out there. Gonna need about 5 more solo shots at this rate

  • This lineup is so absurd I had to come out of hibernation to join the fun

Grandal has averaged a 5.0 fWAR the last 5 seasons. Only White Sox fans would b**** about his acquisition 2 and 1/2 games into his White Sox career after a long layoff.

Another Nicky bomb

Delmonico pop up.....amazing

No reason too see Nicky start another game

Kopech opting out and López being injured. (Along with Gio G being a lemon) just destroyed this pitching

No reason at all at this point to expect anything out of Kopech going into next year after the past two seasons.  I'll be pleasantly surprised to see him provide half a season.

You mean a GOOD right fielder. Our guys WAR benefits from Robert.

I don't think it has anything to do with that. Routine flyballs where the corner OF is camped under should be left for him to catch. Eventually it will lead to a drop or injury if they keep letting this go

0-10 so far from Delmonico, Collins, Garcia and Mendick.......not gonna win many ball games with your 4-5 hitters going a whopping 0-6

He will hit 5th tommorow

Worthless pitches nibbling sheesh

Leadoff walks are not gonna work Hamilton

"In an effort to get Nicky more ABs, we're going to move him to leadoff. He has really been locked in on seeing pitches, but a bit unlucky on the result."

-Rick Renteria, probably...

Did abreu just call the steal

To top it off, the Cubs are off to the opposite start.  Couldn't have wished it on a nicer ownership group.

Honestly, it's pretty sad that five games into the season, you're (already) almost hoping for cancellation of the season, despite knowing in the back of your mind that so many of the young players need to continue their development tracks.   Not hoping for anyone to get sick or even be hospitalized, but just that there's a final recognition of how screwed up this entire year has been, ever since January.

It feels to me as if 2-3 years have already passed, and it's only 7 months.

Thoughts and prayers!  I know, I know, quite fortunate to still have a job, but still depressing to reflect upon the looming realization international travel might not be allowed for MANY months still and that next summer vacation is going to be cut in half yet again.   Life.    Two co-workers have had total mental breakdowns or been basically incapacitated.

Baseball was supposed to be a welcome respite.  And it was, for brief periods Friday and most of Saturday afternoon.   Guess we're not used to following a team that's expected to perform up to expectations, forgot how it felt like after the last decade.

I'd still rather watch bad baseball than no baseball.

If they win tomorrow, we can step off the ledge for a day.

Apparently Eloy is under league concussion protocol

Right now this looks like a last place team no matter how many games they are playing.

Hit streak lives

Whatever pitching plan the Sox came up with to get the starters ready clearly was ineffective. These guys look like week 1 of ST trying to go 5-6 innings.

Robert just timed at 4.3 down the line to first.    Bo Jackson or Deion Sanders-esque.

No social distancing in McCovey Cove as all the kayaks are bunched up too closely together on the water...

Well...Leury has no idea how to deal with that at all...

and yet...ANOTHER ground ball to second.

How can leury ground out to 2nd base every at bat?

Another groundout by Leury. What a terrible day for him

7 ground outs for Garcia
