Won't help. It's HIS 1st inning that he has an issue with. It wouldn't matter if he came in during the 1st or 3rd inning he'd still have command issues.

This is correct. He takes one to two innings to find himself, but too often he's dug himself a hole. It's infuriating.

Going to need more out of Mendick than a 643 OPS if the rest of the line-up isn't going to live up to expectations...because his defense is at best, slightly below average, overall.

Nobody knew if the ball was dead. But Eloy thought it was funny and stood there like a goof while baseball players tagged up and looked for more until a call was made.
