Yeah with ABs like that Vaughn or Collins needs to be up to DH

We can solve the DH problem by calling Collins up and having Grandal and McCann in the same lineup on a regular basis.

Ultimately I think EE is about done. He's ultra late on 93MPH fastballs middle in.

He's Dunn alright, Dunn 3.0

(LaRoche = Dunn 2.0).

White Sox Math - Player / Batting Average / Wins Above replacement

Dunn  .201 /  -0.4

LaRoche .207 / -0.7

Parrot .174 / -0.1

Pito just putting in that work my goodness

Not taking charge will cost the Sox.

Abreu is a gold glover now

Problem is he’s on the wrong side of 30

WTF got into Jose and his D? Did he actually focus on it during the off season?

The story how he came into the season down 20 lbs I believe is helping him

Amazing isn't it? I would say that being on a team that actially wins probably makes a difference in focus on the field for him...

Abreu is literally the hero of this season aside from TA. I thought he signed for about $3MM/yr too much, but he’s damn well been worth it. Thank you, Jose. Keep it up

This is a solid comp. Let's be honest,  I know Mendick is the new toy, but we are probably looking at a guy who will settle into this exact type of career. Maybe a bit better of a hitter than Yolmer,  but not as good of a fielder. In reality this is squabbling over Replacement level players.

Danny has a very small edge over both, and to be honest might have a 2-3 year stretch where he starts somewhere mediocre, but in general he is a similar player. Danny has a bit more plate discipline and power in his game day bat. Gordon should have had more power but it never played up. Regardless, Yolmer is a really nice utility piece. He was cut from the Giants because they suck and didn't want to start an old guy. He will have a home on a contender for the next 3-4 years because he can defend. He may not get the invite until later in the year, but he'll be there at some point.

Dallas is struggling today with this control

Dallas making a habit of getting into trouble with 2 outs.

He was embarrassed last year and worked his tail off. There was a story about it with Vaughn following his lead and etc this off-season. I believe it. Guy is a hard worker.

At least he’s made a habit of getting out of it

he really never throws strikes lol. Since 2017 he has the 2nd lowest zone % (pitches thrown in the zone) in all of baseball. He throws 36.5% of his pitches for strikes. People just swing at them

Keuchel just pitches man. Even when he doesn't have it, he battles. LOVE the pickup.

We really need 6 innings today out of Dallas. Hopefully he doesn't have any issues in the 6th again.
