Again...wtf are you trying to get Dunning to throw a high fastball there?

Yep, make him hit something else. Dunning’s fastball isn’t good enough to keep going high.

I have no idea what you just said but maybe it's funny.

  • Wow. What a different take then during the draft. Everyone was freaking out that KW was going to be an idiot and over rule everyone and take him.  Along with the relief when he didn't

Having Singer would mean no Madrigal... pass.

Tied.  That review looms large now.

Didn’t anybody notice that McCann didn’t react as if he tagged him?  I honestly don’t think he got him. And even if he did, there certainly wasn’t enough to overturn.

Unbelievably bad pitch selection and location there

The pitch selection was right. Mondesi can’t hit anything upstairs. Dunning missed his spot by a foot.

Wrong. Not obvious at all.

McCann literally tagged him with the glove before he touched home. They freeze-framed it on the broadcast.

Dunning not hitting his spots

I like Dunning but this team is still one starter short, at least, this season. Ryu would have been the perfect pickup teamed with Keuchel as the two lefties in the rotation.

Yeah Dunning is definitely worthy of a #3 slot in the playoffs. Between all of the walks and inability to get out crappy players, he'd be a great option there

It's sad that our pitching is face planting. I have faith in Dunning, but he shouldn't be asked to pitch big games right now.

It’s the same exact pitch he hit earlier though. Got to change it up a bit, especially with a pitcher that doesn’t excel with high fastballs.

Must be nice to have a manager that likes his players to steal..

Dunning is a sinkerball pitcher, he doesn't typically throw high fastballs on purpose, so why do we keep trying?

Rodon will solve everything.  I swear we must have like five clean innings over last week.

This team is two starters short of making any real noise in the playoffs.

Danegunnit Dunning ?

It looked that way to me also but I wonder why McCann wasn't adamant about it to the dugout

Looked pretty clear to me.

Get someone up moron

Another high fastball call. What a dumb strategy tonight.

Dane is coming back from injury. Pairing him with Rodon would be great if we were not a starter short.

Call Kenny Loggins, we're in the Danger Zone.

Even nicer to have a team hitting boat loads of home runs and at the top of the league in runs scored.

This team only goes as far as their bats will take them.

Pop to TA!  2 down!

Seriously does Renteria have narcolepsy. Every time they show him sitting in the dugout his eyes are halfway closed or closed.

This team is really the epitome of Spahn and Sain and pray for rain.

I wonder what the price would have been for a year and a half of Lynn

I wonder what inning Cordero gets up
