These chances will come back to haunt us no doubt

Ugh it’s Oakland

Edited by Soxfest

Two chances in two games and both duds.  Ugh.

Yeah that amps a team up right there.

Madrigal gets thrown out no bases loaded for Abreu.

yeah and if he makes it then it is 2-0 instead of 5 LOB in 2 innings.  That's a good recipe for losing a game.

Been doing this shit all year, no reason for it to suddenly change. got a lead at least

Damn, sure feels like they are up more than 1 run.

Had the same thought when the ball landed. Canha got it in quick

And he was on the ball QUICK.

Keep putting pressure on and we will be ok

Abreu can't come through again. Damn it

15 runners left in the last 11 innings 0-11 with RISP.  That's scary.

That's what stops Abreu from being mentioned with the true elites.

Haven’t they been just about the worst in baseball with bases loaded

We've stranded runners all year. Can't do that in the playoffs unless you want to go home. But we need to just keep pitching and keep them off the board until we can score a few more.

He wasn't making it.

You asked why he's atrocious directly after he didn't score on a double. The replay showed he was running on contact and was held up. It does in fact answer your dumb question

My hyperbole is in response to all the talk about how speedy he is for the past couple of years.

He drilled the one yesterday. Can’t fault him for that. This one, OTOH...

Did they hold him up?

Yes.

the first player to hit a homer in the second inning while wearing black stockings with a hat slightly askew since vance boggins in 1946

I can't believe they only scored one off Fiers. That guy made me want to grab a bat.

Im angry

Robert the youngest player since Mickey Mantle to hit a HR in a winner take all playoff game.

Oh shut the fuck up. He’s going to win the MVP this year, barring a criminal level of journalistic stupidity. One GO doesn’t change that.

Looked like the ball was in the relay's hands as Madrigal rounded 3rd.  He'd have been hosed
