Marshall and Foster blow chunks.  Kopech and Crochet need to be the later innings guys ahead of Hendricks.

We are now at the point of blaming Madrigal for opponents losing their equipment

I'm sorry but Keuchel is pretty much done. He has no velocity and he has to have pin point control to have any chance at success. Hopefully we see Kopech back in the starting rotation by June.

Please tell me that wasn’t a ball a normal LFer ordinarily catches?

Now he gets someone up?

Pissing away games like this with the “best bullpen in baseball”

Foster blows.

Teams have figured him out. The foul off pitches until they see one they like. He can't put anyone away or he's busy being 2-1 or 3-1

this game is indistinguishable from a Ricky Renteria game

He’s still in!!!! LOL

Ruiz warming?  TLR punting the game I see...

Yeah I've noticed he keeps guys in too long. He let Marshall face way too many that one game he blew where he pitched the 8th (not that hes an 8th inning guy in the first place).

This is why it's really dumb to have two pitchers you're trying to develop sitting in the big league bullpen.

This is absolutely right. A lot of this is on Tony (I get it’s the opening week) but this lineup and bullpen management shows he had NO urgency to win this game.

This is also on Hahn and Co. They’ve decided to put Kopech and Crochet in the pen, which takes two BIG arms out of the equation for 2-3 days at a time. This is the result.

Good news: someone is loosening up

Bad news: it's Ruiz

It’s a 3 run game, no high leverage spots any time soon. Now is when you use your #8 reliever.

Why was Foster hung out to dry here?

He can eat it

I’m sorry, what now?

How many hard hit balls have there been? Everything off the bat has exit velos in the 60s and 70s.

This bullpen has choked so bad. We are just handing games to the other team. I’m good never seeing Foster again.

Sure, just leave him out there until they score 10.

I missed all this getting dinner...but i will blame @RagahRagah

Foster is done.

You just can’t play this poorly and sweep even the worst MLB clubs on the road...

And, from watching Maeda the first two times out, he’s looking like a Cy Young candidate to go with Berrios.

8-4...

If you keep throwing high fastballs and low changeups they're going to catch on.

Someone please inform LaRussa that a pitcher does not have to pitch an entire inning under the new rules.

Is he really leaving him in the game?
