Dylan Cease vs Gerrit Cole

At first glance this looks like a guaranteed L. But I’m not willing to count this team out of any game. Cole just gave up 5 runs his last outing.

Kind of surprised no Billy. He’s actually been decent against Cole, and Vaughn has been scuffling. Anyways, this lineup is fine. Hopefully Cease is on.

Hopefully the team doesnt feel the same way. Also hopefully isnt a close game late because with how TLR manages and how the Yankees bullpen is thats where the real danger lies.

All comes down to which Cease we get today

Not expecting a win today, but would find it as a net positive if Cease pitches well and looks like he belongs.

The offense goes as Tim goes, he has to get out of this funk and there's no better stage for a guy like him to do that than Yankee stadium against their Ace

Praying the the baseball gods that Cease shows out and out duels Cole. Wouldn't that be a disaster for MLBN

A win today would go a long way in removing the bad taste of yesterday's loss.

Go Sox.  TA needs to pick it up.

I said yesterday would be an easy W with a bad lefty on the mound.  I'll take the opposite approach and say we're screwed.

Going to be a rough day against Cole.

Cole ain't pitching bad on back to back outings. Lets just hope our boys score one more run than their boys.

Listening on the tadio... crowd was very load cheering something when Timmy was up but I couldn't understand what they were chanting.

Lineup is just so mediocre right now against RHP.  Cole was always going to be tough, but you look up and down the lineup and the lack of power is striking.

So Len and DJ are both allowed to travel now but not the TV crew?  What's the reasoning there?
