For the record, this is Game #1 of Tony LaRussa managing against the Cardinals, ever.

Lynn has been great so far this season. He is just the ultimate workhorse out there. Gives you innings and always keeps you in the game.

Glad I'm not the only one who thinks the Larussa hate is getting out of control. Bunch of fake news being peddled that Hahn wasn't onboard with the Eaton signing and larussa hiring.

Wainwright probably as well

Need to get back on track tonight - I think it will happen.  Tony will be emotional going against his old team.  Hopefully that doesn't affect his thought process!

Maybe Tony should sit this series and give someone else on the bench a shot then.

Well then I guess we don't need you in the dugout, TLR. Fuck off. Maybe drive to a local bar and get drunk.

I'd prefer his drunk ass didn't drive around in the local (my) neighborhood.

Sox take four out of three.

Lets get a W today

Wow, Joe West umpiring this game. I didn't know he was still umpiring to be honest... Dude is 68. I assume he isn't behind home plate anymore? I guess it doesn't matter as much with with replay, but let's get some younger umpires in there...

I really want to see TA, Yerminator, Moncada, Abreu 1-4.  Yerminator would be such a force behind TA with all the leadoff hits TA gets.  Vaughn in LF can go 5th.

Of course the rest of the lineup would still suck but that top 5 would be awesome.

TLR doesn't have the stones to bat Yermin 2nd.  That's one of the reasons Hawk fired him.  He doesn't have the stones.

Can we just give Nick Williams and Goodwin to the Tigers?

Geez.  That offense.  If that doesn't help, loan Burgatron/Sheets/Rutherford.

Even with just three starters and without F.Reyes for 5-7 weeks, that scrappy team is hanging in there.

Reminder to TLR.

Carpenter is nearly done.

Don't treat him like he's the same threat from 5-7 years ago.

YO-YO WAS FLYING!!!!

There's that "lack of hustle" from Moncada. Or something.

Fantastic hustle to catch that pop foul

123 1st for Lynn

Bad effort yoyo

Great start Lancy! Lets go hit!

Moncada was hauling ass to get that ball.  Even Stone complimented him.
