This AAA lineup gives you a 4 run lead and you can’t get 9 outs. Legit pitiful from Huere Bummer and Marshall

Bummer gave up what should have been a harmless groundball up the middle. He was fine. Pulling him was dumb

  • Not sure but I assume you'll find something wrong with it

  • Just imagine bringing in Marshall to face a righty when they have an OPS near 1.000 off him.

Tony has left the dugout to yell at Yermin. Not once to have his player’s back.

Hendriks warming up.  Those 6 or so extra pitches would have been killers

He wasn't even warming. Tony needs to use his best pitchers in the biggest spots.

Heuer is trash.

I thought he was coming in.. then marshal came in for absolutely no fucking reason that makes sense.

Marshall coming back out for some reason, only believable argument is you're saving Liam for the tenth when you need a strikeout guy, I guess

Just an FYI, but righties have an OPS of .446 against Ruiz.  If you didn’t want to go to Hendriks, there were better options.

Leaving Marshall in to take the L?

Marshall against Zunino spells trouble

And Marshall back out again.

Is Hendriks hurt?

evan marshall still in the game. lololo

Rays run incoming.

Marshall is still in lmao... we're gonna lose.

Yay, playing for innings that aren’t guaranteed

lol

Why is Marshall still in?

I don’t know what TLR is doing.

Why was Hendricks warming only to keep Marshall in?

Yep, they gave the BP enough of a cushion but didn't get the job done.

Win or lose, my takeaway is that we can more than hang with TB because we currently have a scrappy team with almost half of our starters out because our SPs are just flat out better than theirs...we need a replacement for Nicky and most importantly, need bullpen help because we have too many guys underperforming.

Does La Russa know he could take Marshall out? I'm generally curious if he knows the rules there.

marshall will be fine if zunino keeps swinging with his eyes closed

Problem is, the Sox don’t have too many “best” pitchers!

Between the bullpen and TLR and Mendick this has been a HELLUVA close.

I love when Jason and Steve rip on LaRussa then just stay silent for 15 seconds to let it breath.

Tony seems to add to bullpen melt Downs with terrible decisions.  He sucks !

Chances La Russa knows Marshall didn't have to bring Marshall back out? 4%?
