Then do us all a favor and stop trying to take us all down into your pity party on a daily basis.

    Lol you’re a clown.

  • Zevala is not a major league catcher. There is no shortage of better defensive catchers that can’t hit.

Man this is so friggen old at this point

Yikes.  So unconnected to the original injury, or what?

Out 4-6 weeks

I’ll believe that when I see it. He had some very minor injuries that he took a long time to recover from.

Man is this team gonna be good in mid August

I'm reading that this is a 6 month injury by Googling. He's done for the year.

Edit: NVM 4-6 weeks.

Could be better, could be worse. I think most thought he tore his achilles, the fact he should be back this year is helpful.

Too bad Chirinos just signed like 2 days ago with the Cubs. Would have been a solid add.

Here's to hoping he actually comes back healthy and isn't rushed.

When 4-6 weeks doesn't sound to bad lmao

Is this the same knee he was having trouble with this spring?

EDIT< no, it was not

4-6 weeks sounds super reasonable. When you add the all-star break into this timeline, he may only lose a month. that is great.

Most player movement is going to be with the bullpen, and then the rotation. Sox haven't had too much bad luck there.

I'm going to be very unhappy with the bad catching were about to witness for the next month.

Just what the struggling pitching does not need

Wow - I saw the "torn tendon" tweet and I got out on the ledge.  I then immediately saw the "4-6 weeks" tweet and stepped back.  What a roller coaster.  Back this season is all I was hoping for at this point.

4 weeks out is 22 games missed, 6 is 36 games missed, give or take.

So now he's got 2 achy knees lol.

Sounds like about what we expected, at least for time lost.

It's going to be an ugly 4-6 weeks from the catcher's spot...offensively and defensively.

lmao I started googling torn knee tendon and saw 6 months as the first result and almost fainted.

Haha this team has no luck at all with injuries. That has to be a season ender.

4-6 weeks doesn’t sound like a season ender and is about as good of news as we could have expected.
