Cease vs Keller

Let's get a god damn win.

Which Dylan Cease shows up tonight?  Hopefully the one who strikes people out and gets through 4 innings with less than 80 pitches.

Cant believe how badly Minor owns us this year when hes so bad against every other team. Hopefully they destroy Keller today and get the offense going again.

Keller’s looked a lot better of late.  Saw him against the Brewers and he had great stuff.

So Eloy in LF? Alllrighty then.

anyway, I was encouraged with his at bats in game 1. He didn’t strike out more than once. Its a process.

2 out of 3 the next 21. Let’s go offense! Pick it up!

Can we stop sucking tonight

Would be really nice for Abreu and Anderson to show up again.

Let's win this one and turn the rotation over with a little bit of momentum.  Be nice to see the offense bust out.  Losing Grandal has been such a blow, he was carrying a lot of the load with the other boppers either hurt or slumping.

Pretty hard to do both.

The lineup looks lifeless. I say bat him 9th as well.

That is an awful OF defense. Should put Sheets in RF and DH Vaughn to really make it a circus.

Given the K rate in the game these days, trading defense for offense makes some sense. KC’s rf is O’Hearn, so not better. I predict that Collins’ defense is the one we’re worried about with Cease on the mound.

With Eloy and Vaughn in the corners I would prefer one of our 2 elite glove CF's to be in ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This org is a joke playing Eloy in left, we all know how its going to turn out. Hes either going to hurt himself again or hurt someone else all the while making error after error in the field. I cant believe they are bending to Eloy's will like this.

If he isn't quite the hitter as the DH then you have to put him in LF. He's an elite hitter and you need that. I'm not saying he can't adapt, but this is what you do with your elite players. Just like putting TA in the leadoff roll well before he "earned" it, then he went and won a batting title!

My church softball team runs out a better OF defense.

Not sure if Engel would be back on the IL if Robert was here. Adam has started in consecutive games just twice this season (June 10 & 11; July 18-21) until he apparently was hurt again (Tony mentioned limited availability in Milwaukee).

I would prefer if Adam has limited availability that he plays CF (or Billy vs. a LHP) on days Eloy plays LF. Have no issue with Vaughn in RF if they "must" play Eloy in LF, he has been working there pregame for some time now,
