  • Can we discuss how bad moncada has been lately. I'm sorry but fuck some of these bullshit made up WAR numbers. My great 3rd baseman is batting. 267  8 home runs 44 rbi After 1

"RH better be on the phone right now. that bottom 7-9 is gross." Just get the 2nd baseman. When Robert comes back, and when Yaz comes back, and we get a 2nd baseman:  out-of-the line-u

Gotta be exhausting going through life like you do.

I'm always negative and even I find his posts ridiculous

Yeah I hate it. But he’s the best one they got other than Liam. They just need to sprinkle in a few starts and some longer outings. Hoping they do it - they know he’s a SP.

And I’m fine with it come October, but the kid still needs some innings in the interim.  Tony seems to think Michael is going to pull a Wainwright and go from a reliever to a starter and add 125 innings next year.  That’s not going to happen or it will simply not end well.

Kopech up in the zone with everything.

This is good to get MK in for back to back games

I didn’t catch that, but I did see La Russa basically all but confirm that earlier today.  I still can’t believe we are going to compromise his ability to start next year.

I think they figure he'll get his innings in like this and they can build him up next year before the season. I saw this a few weeks back with the one inning outings after the injury.

you don't luck your way into 20 games over 500 after 100 games

The scored 30 runs in the 5 games before this slump lmaooooooo.

Only against bad teams like the Astros though.

Didn't have anything tonight and got three outs

How many innings can he realistically get if he’s primarily limited to one inning appearances?

Kopech our new set up man.

Kopech didn't have it today and still got the job done..

We lead 2-1!

Kopech will remain as a reliever as long as Pop Pop can eat soup.

I hope Kopech can at least be built up to a point where 2-3 innings will be possible for him in the playoffs.

Great job MK

Go get Tepera and Hudson and have 6-8 covered with Kopech and Bummer

Why is Leury still in RF on a 2-1 game in the 8th?

that inning was fine. and now they will justify no RH setup trade and not stretch out MK. fun.

It's baseball, you can luck your way into a championship. See: 2005 Sox and 2006 Cardinals.

Instead of increasing the number of innings in a single outing, they are doing back to back days. Another way to increase the endurance.

Wainwright was never a power pitcher like Kopech. There's just no comparison.

With back to back ones, it's just like two inning outings due to the decreased rest.
