Yeah, it’s stuff like that kills me.  A reliever not having his stuff is going to happen, but can’t throw away outs in a situation like that.  Always comes back to bite you.

Why shouldn’t he have been in on the situation? They acquired him expecting him to be able to pitch in leverage situations. He hung a slider and couldn’t throw strikes.
