Leury can’t kill a rally when there’s two outs and no one on.

Not impressive, against a lefty.

White Sox 1 Royals 0

Here come the bloopers from the bottom of this order.

You see how he’s 1-25 when swinging at first pitch fastballs?

Maybe being more aggressive doesn't help him.

2019 looking more like the outlier, than the expectation, and that is pretty concerning. But, I'm sure it is just me not respecting a 'top 10 player in all of MLB'.

Who is a better player Nick madrigal or Niki Lopez?

Agreed

Cease missing inside a lot against lefties on his fastball. Just like when he walked Santana.

It'd be somewhat preferable if Dylan didn't use ten pitches per batter

Depends, where is Niki Lopez from, again?

Madrigal has a much better hit tool, Lopez is probably a better runner and defender. Lopez has made himself into a decent little player though. He gets on base quite a bit despite not hitting for much power or average.

Lopez has more defensive versatility

When you do the math, you choose McGrath.

bWAR (2020-2021): Lopez 2.8; Madrigal 1.7

fWAR (2020-2021): Lopez 2.1; Madrigal 1.5

One guy is also 2 years longer and doesn't have multiple seasons with a ~55 wRC+ under their belt

Seby having an absolutely miserable game behind the plate

Jesus christ

Wait I thought he tipped that?

Edit: Nevermind, that was the sound of the ball hitting his shin guard.

Cease has no command of his slider today, good lord

Just pathetic

I’ve been talking up Seby’s defense the last few days but hasn’t been his best day so far today.

Jfc Zavala
