He was running on the play, didn't know if it was gonna get caught, saw it drop, went to 2nd and then decided to go to third when Hernandez go to the ball immediately. He was out by about 10 feet at third. 

When you are a station to station team and don't steal or hit and run enough, and hit lots of singles then you will have hard time scoring no matter how many hits you have

He inexplicably tried to take third when the OFer had the ball before he even rounded second. 

It's not like the ball bounced straight to Hernandez, too. It took a favorable hop for the Sox and he was still out by 25 feet.

So if the Sox hang on and win, 4 for 4 against Berrios this season?

He can hit well enough but that's it. He's brutal at everything else.

12 LOB and 3 thrown out on the bases. Doing everything possible to lose.

3 runs on 1 swing................2 runs on 17 hits otherwise that is hard to do.

C’mon now. Don’t overreact.  Dude has had some big hits this year and you probably were in this same venue praising him for winning a game.

Hernandez made a couple of nice plays in the top of the inning, so of course he leads off the 9th.
