We don't know yet if Lambert is starting I guess. I assume we will see him. The pitching well in the minors seems a bit dry. Mike Wright also due for a visit.

Let’s just hope we’ve seen the last of Danny Wright this year.

The poster or the pitcher?

Nevermind,  it's obviously both.

man this site is just a bunch of nerds now “well actually did you know they won the 1910 World Series” jfc

Connie Mack would start the year with good players to draw fans and then sell them off along the way. He preferred fourth place.

Connie Mack, Charles Comiskey, Jerry Reinsdorf ….

Does the crowd at Oakland home games still sound like a European soccer match?  Just need to know if I need the mute button ready (besides for the Nationwide Jingle that is)

Imona watch this Houston game.

GO YOU MARINERS!!!

man what a dumb franchise.

except for the 70s.

They were so dumb they traded Shark for Semien, Phlegly, and Bassit.

Like this lineup. No Goodwin,Mendick or Sevy.  Doesn’t qualify as a Sunday lineup with our current roster.

They got a bad rep in the Charley Finley era.

You missed the sarcasm.

Rays seem to own the Red Sox.

My unsettled feeling about TA' s status better just be an overreaction.

I don’t think the MRI revealed anything crazy.  He also didn’t have a sudden injury and have to get carried off the field.

I’m guessing they are being ultra conservative with this.  If he comes back and re-aggravates it, he’d be out of the playoffs with only a few regular season weeks left.

Playoffs without TA would be the worst. I know you’re thinking the same, and that’s causing your unsettling feeling.

If this is the case, wouldn't it have made more sense to use Lambert as a follower? Why give the top of the A's lineup an extra look at someone you'll only be getting a few innings from anyway?

They are just murdering the ball.  I’m watching the MLB mix station and every time I look it’s an extra base hit.

Yep put a better pitcher in the first inning maybe?

We've already seen what happens when you push through a known hamstring injury (Engel) or one that was bubbling up under the surface like must have been the case with Madrigal. If those 2 injuries spooked them into being overly cautious, particularly with someone that's been prone to soft tissue injuries anyway, I think that's a good thing given where the Sox are at right now.

I think it's kind of a no-brainer. Look at how the Dodgers and Giants are handling their rotation woes. Letting the A's best hitters get another look at Lambert doesn't make much sense, at least to me.

Beckham said Lambert will be on the playoff roster if he pitches well today.

Uhhh… ok Gordo.

Robert likes hitting in Oakland.

Throwing Robert a fastball on 0-2 is not a winning strategy.
