I think we all owe Tony an apology if the Sox keep it up

He’ll earn a chorus of apology with some hardware.

Lmao.... At least you're consistent with your undying loyalty to this fucking incompetent, demented dinosaur. Walking him was the wrong call based on every available data point on the fucking planet.

I've never fallen out of love with the White Sox like I have this season. Even during the rebuild. This is just pure misery inflicted onto the fanbase.

I'll take a nice helping of humble pie with a WS Ring

He ain’t leading anyone or anything. Going to be ironic/poetic when he leaves the organization again without a WS.

If Tony was Coaching Part 3 - switching teams.

1988 and two Hall of Fame Managers, Tommy and Tony, switch dugouts.

Wait "Tony is calling Gibson back to the dugout.  Leury Garcia will be hitting in his place."

Weak grounder to second. A's win!

It was Kirk's day off, he wouldn't have pinch hit at all.

No he won’t, nor does he deserve one.  He is an anchor around this team’s neck.  Any hardware would be won despite him and his myriad blunders at the helm.

exactly.

It was always a flawed roster thanks to the shortsighted FO.  Maybe a good manager helps helps push them over the top, but TLR is anything but a good manager.

Hysterical but so true.  I'll never understand why a player getting the day off can't pick up a bat and hit in the late innings of a close game.  It's like Tony's is willing us to lose for the sake of a player having a full day's rest.

I’m just saying it’s the only way he’ll get any praise. Personally I’ve been against him since day one and always will be.

Publicly though, if they won he would be loved.

If the Sox won, I still wouldn't love LaRussa and would be glad he would probably be leaving after winning with us.

I won't say loved, but I could at least respect his body of work.  So far he has given us neither.

Too bad TLR let DK face Story and gave up an Earl Weaver 3 run homer.  It is easier to come back against 3 runs than 6.

Only 21 RBIs in 7 games for Story...broke Mike Greenwell's franchise record of 18 ribbies in 7 back in 1988.

I dont blame TLR here for leaving DK in. Cease blew it 2 days ago and the bullpen had to cover for him.

If anything I blame Hahn for not dealing with Keuchel in the offseason.

Why sign Trevor Story when you can sign Josh Harrison, snag a Cesar Hernandez at the deadline if needed?

Make that 23 ribbies thanks to Big Energy softball tosses.

7 homers in 7 games.

How many times do people have to be told that Story does not want to play 2B.

You can't play chess when all you have is checkers.

You almost got me here Wegner... I had a response typed up before I sensed the sarcasm.
