You want to hit the guy with a career MiLB OBP of .299 in the lead off spot because he has a .310 OBP in 30 PAs this season in MLB. Look I get that a lot of guys are struggling, but that is the definition of a LaRussa line up.

May 31, 20223 yr Pollock has a track record....not currently but he has performed more recently than others. Put him there and have him DH to limit his workload and play him every day. Moncada as well until he pulls something again climbing the dugout steps....this is assuming the quad injury is not season ending because of the ground out Sunday.

Their best game last season was when Tony was in Florida attending a funeral, and Miguel Cairo managed the Field of Dreams game. Solid lineup, the Sox played hard from the first to last pitch, very exciting baseball and their best win of the season.
