Windy AF in the neighborhood.  Can't imagine how crazy & swirling it is at the park.

Don't tell Mariners fans...they might use it as an excuse if things don't go their way.

  • I know it's a day game after a night game, but I hate TLR's decision to go with Potash over Van Schouwen here......it's short sighted nonsense.  I'm sure he will say it is to keep Daryl fresh for the

  • I initially read that second sentence as Mendick and Leury, so I took it as Leury was covering the Sox for the Sun-Times and it was like, man, his super-sub role is going WAY too far.

This is the funniest fucking thing I've ever seen

no fucking power.

It'd be nice if Reese can jack one out here

Am I the only 1 that doesn’t think Gilbert’s stuff is that good? Was just about to post how we should hit him 2nd time thru when Stone was complimenting his stuff.

Imagine playing two in this crazy wind.  Not that that would stop their pearl clutching.

Probably a stupid question, but why didn't the Sox plan on using Lopez as a spot starter here instead of Lambert?

damn thought that was in the gap.

Just a bit late on the fastball.  It’s kind of amazing how much better their swings against LHP is than RHP.

His stuff isn't good. Also doesn't help when he can't locate it.

They were unlucky in game 1 with the wind to be fair, but you can't control the weather. Complaining about the weather when both teams gotta deal with it is extremely childish.

what about our #4 hitter?

1-7 which is much better than 0-14

Probably because Lopez hasn't been stretched out. He's also more valuable in middle relief and long relief right now with how thin the bullpen is right now.

It all evens out. Today they get Lambert and a Clinched home field advantage lineup.

The Sox are allowing plastic bags near TA, clearly trying to rig it for the Mariners.

Great job by Vaughn!!

There we go Andrew

Eloy doesn't catch that

Why aren't the grounds crew cleaning the debris up? This is some disgusting gamesmanship.

Two plays in a row without Garcia getting in the way.  Nice,
