It is insanity that in 2022 there's a baseball team with an unpadded brick wall in their outfield

Lucas' updated K rate is getting close to 45%. I know the command has been shaky, I guess, but swing and miss stuff to this extent is just outrageous

WTF was Madrigal doing? LOL.

Great catch

Yeah he caught that. Thought so live.

What a catch by Robert.

There's that low baseball IQ we all miss!

Madrigal got a hit when he shouldn't of.

They can change it.

Nicky coming through again for us.

If they take that hit away the lil guy will end his career with only 2,999 hits.

You're right.

They're going to hire a modern hitting coach several years too late exactly like they did with Katz.

Not the coach it’s an entire org problem.

My pick to click is hitting another one out of here.

The Sox are one of the best in the Majors at hitting the ball hard to center field and the opposite field. But they just don't pull the ball in the air enough. The problem with that approach this year is that barrels to CF are dying due to the weather and the ball. That's a huge reason why the Sox have such good expected stats but shit actual stats. Expected stats don't care which direction the ball is hit, but pulled barrels go for hits way more often than ones to CF. It'll get better when the weather warms up, but the Sox have bigger issues since they simply don't work counts or take pitches as a team.

He would have been out after a review anyway, but almost every player does this these days, especially on routine pop ups. They just keep going and if the ball somehow falls they would bee easy outs.

Horner-Madrigal is a weak infield

Madrigal got a free hit there.  Remember that one when he gets to the 3,000.
