He's certainly going to end up with a lot more than Kelenic. ?

It is insanity that in 2022 there's a baseball team with an unpadded brick wall in their outfield

Whew!

Smart hitting from Gavin

Thank you! Throwing outside pitches with the shift on.

Nice adjustment right there

By Gameday - all five pitches to Pollock were out of the zone.

Lawd have mercy Pollock sucks

Sheets with a rocket!

Sheets has been beating the shift all season. It's about the only place he's getting hits.

Welcome to SoxTalk!

Alright, tie game feels good all things considered.

Not sure how Leury made such weak contact on that batting practice curveball

Gavin comes thru like an  All Star.

I could agree with a restriction on shifts. But I'd rather see it beat that way

Pollock looks terrible. A far cry from before his injury.

We really should stop mentioning “before the injury”.  It was literally one game and two at bats in another.

especially after he just watched two of the loopers to sheets. he's obviously not throwing a lot of fastballs for whatever reason so in that case sitting on a breaking ball would make sense.

He's not just a home run hitter. Versitility makes him so valuable.

34 year olds can fall off a cliff at any time, but his track record the last few years is excellent. His exit velo is actually up slightly from last year. I think he'll eventually be fine, but it'd be nice to see him start hitting soon.

this guy, not only can he play 8 positions, he also can hit squibbers, bleeders, bloopers, loopers, duck snorts and all matter of pop ups. he has all field pop up potential.

Lucas is the most athletic gawkiest athlete I've ever seen.

OMG that change was filthy

He can also hit anywhere in the lineup.

Hoerner just missed that one.

Hoerner getting good swings on Gio
