It always seems like our guys are battling something. Lowered velocity, lack of secondary stuff, whatever, it's always something.

Never throw Wisdom fastballs below the belt.  Should have been another change up.

Gio at 31 pitches this inning. The Cubs are getting at least a piece of everything in the zone.

1 swing on only 8 sliders is very strange. I wonder if he's tipping or if they're just so bad it's easy to pick up out of his hand.

Madrigal was real nice to not swing at a fastball right down the pipe. 

Giolito has historically struggled against the Cubs. That's a team that has his number.

At least Nick came through for us.
