  • So, to be clear. Vaughn, Robert, Anderson, and Moncada all need rest frequently or something. Abreu, Grandal, Harrison, Pollock, and Garica need to play every game. The first group is y

  • The better version of this should be "I knew my career was over when I saw Rick Hahn calling"

  • Moncada/TA can't play two games. Garcia/Harrison have to play two games. Chess not checkers.

The Sox might have the worst MLB scouting in all of baseball. They do ok at the lower levels but JFC the next vet brought in that is above replacement will be the 1st in a long time.

Finally squared one up.

Sadly, that is the "best" case scenario with Pollock at the plate. But yet another PA with 'em loaded, without a hit.

Still got 1 hit with the bases loaded, but he at least hit it hard and got the job done.

1/19 with bases loaded.

a run i guess. ABs like that is why the Sox fail to break any game open, just missing meat

That's pretty much the equivalent of a home run for Pollock

Well, it was something.

even when they tattoo one, it's caught..

SF is not an AB

Love sac flys.

Got the job done…but should have been multiple runs given how many extremely hittable pitches there were

Just missed that one too.

Even our good players missing the junkballs

that's the thing about this team that's strange. Sox BABIP is like .261 in 2022. It was .312 last year. Part of the reason why I think they are just on the receiving end of some really shitty luck

Terrible at bat by Robert

Fine 1/18 SF.

However you slice it...it's hardly success against a 13th round draft pick struggling mightily with his control.

Especially missing an untold number of hittable pitches.

He got a few fastballs to hit and missed them. Heasley has pitched about as bad as possible this inning and he'll probably get out of it with only 1 run.

Jose had better ABs yesterday.  He needs to he patient.

Pito!
