The switch was dumb no doubt

But Sheets, Luery, McGuire is an absolutely brutal stretch in the lineup…you’d have to be drunk to write those 3 names in a row on a lineup card

  • So, to be clear. Vaughn, Robert, Anderson, and Moncada all need rest frequently or something. Abreu, Grandal, Harrison, Pollock, and Garica need to play every game. The first group is y

  • The better version of this should be "I knew my career was over when I saw Rick Hahn calling"

  • Moncada/TA can't play two games. Garcia/Harrison have to play two games. Chess not checkers.

kinda wish this was a 7 inning game and by kinda I mean I definitely wish.

Nothing he does makes sense. I don’t even mind letting sheets hit there I guess, but why in the world do you let him hit and then pinch run him? It’s just baffling.

Think like an NL Manager and it's the bottom of the 10th in 2006 and it might start making sense.

Maybe.

Oh c'mon, let him finish the 6th at this point.

Cease looks pissed that TLR is taking him out.

Thanks a lot, Cairo, for accidentally bumping into TLR and waking him up in time for a pitching change.

Haha Cease visibly annoyed at not getting a chance to finish the inning

That’s fine. Let him bat and if he gets on, pinch run him for the guy that is going to come in for defense anyway.

Edit: stepped away to take a shower and missed a lefty was on the mound.

This is the rule they should have kept instead of the extra innings rule. Especially when you had double headers scheduled ahead of time.

I would have let him finish this inning.  But maybe its a bad matchup.

Sousa just isn’t good enough to warrant taking Cease out of this game. It’s not like Sousa is automatic

Basically 2 automatic outs against a lefty.

Much rather have Cease face Isbel than this match up

And now Matheny pinch hits a righty. Every time TLR tries to play chess, it's actually checkers.

Leury didn't see a single strike and struck out.

Does he know it?  Does he give a s..t?

Sousa nice

Check mate

Sousa probably gets the next inning too with Lopez leading off.

Probably say this every time be does a game…but Gordon’s accent is bizarre to me. He sounds more Baltimore/Philly than he does Georgia/Southern

Cease is on pace for a 6 fWAR season.

Welp, that doesn't feel good.

Holy crap, the run on that sinker was so crazy Harrison fouled it off his own knee.

Gordon is bad but Jason makes him worse
