Yaz's hard hit rate (% of batted bats hit over 95 MPH) is down over 13% from the last 2 years

Also Matheny is just a hilariously bad manager.  Pinch hitting with Carlos Santana who had zero hits against Kelly, has been one of the worst hitters in baseball this year and has been worthless in general since 2019 plus a guy who strikes out constantly and hitting O’Hearn 4th?  You have an unbelievably shitty roster but dear god these guys are morons.

Perez got hurt. I also didn't understand the pinch hit at first, but the injury makes it make sense. 

Long B7 followed by 8 pitch T8 this team is literally painful to watch. 

You know how 2nd base and right field were the weak spots for the Sox coming into this year?  I think we can add catcher to that list!

Well Melendez led the minors in homers last year with 41 but struggling like almost all rookies to debut this year.

Just not quite as much as Semien...haha.  I mean it's inconceivable he still hasn't hit one home run after 42 last year.

The scary thing is that he was destroying the ball last April/May even while his knee was really bothering him. This year he was supposedly healthy entering the season.
