I’ve always wondered if Yoan changed some of the things he was doing after receiving the big contract extension

Like now spending all his free time getting tats and chasing tail.

Let's all keep following these dumbass WAR stats and all the sabermetric BS.  Moncada sucks ass.  WAR is not going to point out his half ass effort throw there that caused a 2 run HR thereafter.

Or is WAR going to penalize Robert for not running out a dropped 3rd strike, with a speedy runner on 2B who could take 3rd with a throw to 1B or even perhaps cause a wild throw down the line?  Th

Mr. Defer to the "expert" and/or career .220s hitter.

just because Beckham was pretty bad in the bigs doesnt mean he doesnt know what hes talking about. Plenty of bad hitters and pitchers became coaches in the bigs.

Ricky only had 2 pitchers in the playoffs it wasn't his fault he was hyperventilating.  Like you said "The team played their asses off every single day" for him, can we say the same about are HOF manager?

His instinct about Rodon having something special remaining or added value wasn't as off as it seemed at the time.

give it right back....another thing that hasn't really changed in the past 20 years or so...

OH Boy, the hits just keep rolling for KC.  They actually came to play today, unlike the Sox.

Velasquez also sucks. Let's not lose sight of that fact.

Jamie Navarro-esque pitching out there today.

VV's run of decent pitching was nice while it lasted. He just sucks I guess.

He's still a jackass.  And that whole thing with the homophobic crap written in the dirt for Getz to read...just not classy. He's seemingly a bit more mature now at least.

I actually thing Gordon could be a infield coach or something. He didn't hit but Gordon was pretty good with the glove

We are bringing Witt Jr. back into AL Rookie of the Year consideration at least.

TLR will likely share some anecdotes about his father in the post game.

At a fraction of the cost at least.

What a bunch of clowns.

This team is really good at lolligagging and joking around in the clubhouse.

I turned it off. PGA championship time.

Ricky also supposedly wanted the Sox to get more pitching at the deadline and Hahn said nope

I've been saying the past two years the Sox should have been all in at both deadlines trying to win a title because the future is never guaranteed.

Amazing thing is when Lynn gets back, it's likely this rotation bails them out of a lot of faults and they do go on a hot run, but the underlying issues with La Russa at the helm and with their shortcomings are harder to overcome in the post-season; if they get there.

Except for infield pop ups in front of the mound.

Heck bring Viciedo back from Japan. Anything to change the atmosphere around this organization, at least on the major league side.

The scout that recommended Velasquez should be fired

I had this exact thought just before I read this comment. *shudder*

Today’s ass whoopin is for the best. The more runs VV gives up the sooner we’ll see him out of a Sox uniform

is this the strategy? Just pound the ball into the dirt repeatedly and hope the infield makes an error?

Rory show so far. Not many big names at the top. Tiger pretty much out v of it already.

This is literally Reese's 19th start at catcher.
