White Sox @ Blue Jays 2:07 PM, Cueto (0-1, 2.41) vs. Manoah (5-1, 1.77)

McGiire as DH has to be a new low for TLR.  It’s so bad that it overshadows hitting Leury at lead off while Vaughn hits 7th.  I mean, ultimately they have so many problems that batting order doesn’t matter all that much, but he would for sure do better pulling names out of a hat.  Also, Sheets has to go down.  He’s not right offensively and TLR just can’t quit him.

I don't think I have ever hated a manager as much as I do Tony. Just seeing his old ass in the dugout or walk out to the mound makes me angry. Also, I might have a problem.

  • If I was working the Sox beat, here is what I would ask Hahn or TLR: "Spring Training 2022, you told us this team had World Series aspirations, that was the goal this year after having back-to-ba

Yoan Moncada's idol growing up.  Loves him so much he decided to go on a similar 3 for 34 run for the Sox.

All this makes me wonder if Reinsdorf is even paying attention to what is going on . I mean doesn't he care that the White Sox are the joke of baseball right now, and mostly because of who he hired as manager . If he is in fact, following the team, I can't believe that he isn't having sleepless nights wondering just how he might be able to get out of this mess.

You could likely pull names out of a hat, and come up with a better lineup. I'm honestly at a total loss here. This guy's brain is completely fucking fried.

Reinsdorf doesnt care, he even said so (carrot on stick comments). Hes more concerned with "righting the ship" with his buddy Larussa.

im dangerously close to just quitting following baseball until Reinsdorf dies

JR doesn’t care about the team or winning. He just cares about all that money that is being saved up by not acquiring the top players and talent to field a winning team. It’s money lining his pockets so he’s happy with just that.

I've mostly accepted that we are all sitting here wide-eyed, watching this thing crash and burn.

But what my curious mind wants to know is: Is it the burning part that we're watching now? Or are we still watching a prolonged crash, only to be followed by the burning? Perhaps the crash was the TLR hire and everything since has been the burning?

Important questions to ponder as I count down the minutes to avoiding yet another game of my favorite team during their contention window.

Suck it Leury haters!

Tony is a genius.  He'd tell you himself but it is naptime.

TLR brilliance.

Oh by the way, Manoah has never lost in his young career at home.

7-0.

Two runners on but could just as easily be 1-0 with a runner on 2nd.

Yoan just wanted to get that AB over with, lol

I miss the patient Moncada. Seems like they're just going through the motions swinging at everything.

There's just no conscious thought process about moving runners over.

Damn even over Bevington?

Not that old lol. Started with Manuel but that was very young

We are not a great slider hitting team.

Stating the obvious.

Now Mr. 6/37.

Never seen a player look so disinterested.  He’s going to play himself out of town.

Uh oh bases loaded for Grandal.

What could go wrong?  Always have the wrong hitter up except Abreu last night.

Borderline call.

Not sure who is taking on "this" Moncada at 17 mil for 2023 and 24 mil in 2024....

Bases loaded with Grandal coming up to bat!  Heres hoping

At this point, eat some salary and move on, especially if his extracurricular activities are pissing off the team

Man, Grandal is in rough shape, but that should have been 3-0.

Grandal .148 average against FBs fifth lowest in baseball.

Of course aced with slider.

Struggles with bases loaded continue.

Yaz is so cooked

That 2-0 strike call was awful. But that was a strike

How is Vaughn not hitting 2nd or 3rd? Moncada and Yaz just killing us.

Single Single Walk - 0 runs

we have to be the worst team at extra base hits by a wide margin
