June 8, 20223 yr Well played game. If the team can just get 5-6 games over by July the division is right there. Gotta keep playing better however, which even tonight not like they hit the cover off the ball.
June 8, 20223 yr Noce win! Just want to see this offense start putting pressure on other teams throughout the game.....

June 8, 20223 yr This team has the starting pitching to make noise in the playoffs. They just have to find a way to get there.
June 8, 20223 yr Mendick Vaughn Robert Abreu Burger Pollock/Moncada Moncada/Pollock Catcher Sosa/Leury Every damn game until TA is back. no more Harrison.
June 8, 20223 yr Maybe there is a reason the Sox swing early and often. They are 11-3 in games under 3 hours.
June 8, 20223 yr Nice win. Season is so long. Hopefully team is on an uptick in June and July. They've been OK months in the past for the better Sox teams.

June 8, 20223 yr Gotta say for all the harumph this season has been you wouldn’t know it in the stadium. Every game I’ve been to has been a joy and excellent crowds. We all suffered in the rebuild and are cashing in even if the on the field isn’t representative of what it should be yet.

Yolbert would probably get promoted before Sosa and Sosa moved to AAA . Sosa has had some trouble adjusting to a new level. If he does well in AAA there's still time to promote him if Yolbert can't cut it. Sosa has more power but is only 22 and needs AAA time . He's still below the average age of a AA player by at least a year if not more. Edited June 8, 20223 yr by CaliSoxFanViaSWside
June 8, 20223 yr A nice win with virtually every section of the team actually doing what they are meant to at a good standard, keep this going and things may look rosier in a couple of weeks!

June 8, 20223 yr Kopech was awesome. His fastball had huge life, and he was throwing it for strikes pretty much all night. HIs breaking stuff was good and made better by the fact that he was throwing the fastball so well. It was nice for the offense to come through just in time for him to get the win. AJ Pollock woke up the offense with the double to right. That was great to see. Hopefully we'll see more of that AJ moving forward. Burger continues to be awesome at the plate. He's going to make it difficult for the FO come decision time when Eloy and TA return. After McGuire's embarrassing at bat with the bases loaded where he forgot he was the batter, he came back and delivered a clutch hit off a lefty (a struggling Price, I know, but still). McGuire's been better at everything than Grandal. That's more frustrating and depressing than it is encouraging. But he's been a bit of a surprise.
