Honestly, can’t blame Tony or the bullpen for this one.  13 LOB, a base-running miscue, and blowing a catchable ball are the culprits tonight.

Why the F can't you blame Tony

at least Graveman & Kelly will be fresh for tomorrow ?

vs TJ surgery,  I guess I'll take that.

Might as well send Ruiz or VV to Charlotte if that’s all the confidence you have in them.

Terrible hunch.  Almost blew up with Lambert.

What a bunch of idiots running a multi billion dollar corp....

Seriously where the fuck is Graveman? Why sign him if he is always fucking limited!?

Absolute waste of money to pitch once a week

Any predictions for what comes next?

Hopefully a miracle keeping this game 3-2.

Well sure, but he’s less at fault tonight is my point

Strictly on BP management I blame him. I get the runners left on base, sure but as far as the pen they literally just had a day off.

I’m too afraid

They're clueless.

Just as if they just tuned in this inning.

Why is Martin pitching????? TLR has fucked this game up too.

When Giolito gets rocked of course.  I'm about out of fucking patience with this team!!!

Trying to keep him fresh for the postseason.

The lead off walk was not ideal, but Martin pitched great. I’m serious. Made fantastic pitches.

Yes you can. Martin should not be pitching

Who though?  If Kelly & Lopez are unavailable and Graveman is being saved for the 9th, I’m not sure what better options are available.  Trust me, it sucks having those kids out there, but not convinced that Ruiz is any better.

Someone had to pitch the 9th. I will grant that one.

Fire TLR fucking ass tonight.  The whole damn pen is available and he pitches 2 SPs who are not RPs and rookies in the 7th and 8th up 2 against a good team.  Good God he fucking trash

Graveman has only pitched once in that last week

Kelly has only pitched 1 time in the last week

Ruiz hasn't pitched in a week

Banks pitched 4 days ago

Velasquez and Lopez probably were available

The whole fucking pen is mostly available and TLR fucking pitches 2 SPs up 2 in the 7th and 8th WTF

He was the idiot who needed to have Kelly

Duran going multiple innings tonight for Minnesota…

There’s a gift.

Here's a novel concept....how about spend some of that free agent bullpen $$ on guys who can fucking pitch on back to back nights.

Edited by wegner

This is where run differtial will hurt when they lose 14-2 because the always injured bullpen can't throw back to back days and starters can't throw into the 7th.

I am sorry but if we are choosing between Ruiz and Davis you go with Ruiz, he has way more experience in this area. It makes no sense

Ruiz is bad though

this game isn’t a Hahn or Tony loss, to me, it’s just a team that is too short to execute for many reasons but mostly still injury.

I think we all knew this was going to be a low scoring duel that the Jays were gonna wait Cease out on and beat us late. I think the scary thing is that Cease is developing a reputation as a guy who can’t make it to the 7th inning because of pitch count and no matter how many strikeouts you amass, that is not a good thing.

Sox have like 6 guys who just suck in the pen right now. It’s so embarrassing it’s gotten to this point.

Davis Martin was the wrong call in the 8th. How is that not the managers fault?

The worst call is on the mound right now
