The whole damn pen is available and he pitches 2 SPs who are not RPs and rookies in the 7th and 8th up 2 against a good team. I think we all knew this was going to be a low scoring duel that the Jays were gonna wait Cease out on and beat us late. I think the scary thing is that Cease is developing a reputation as a guy who can’t make it to the 7th inning because of pitch count and no matter how many strikeouts you amass, that is not a good thing.
