Friggin 8th inning again

Choke

This happens to teams who run themselves out of innings, and use guys like Davis Martin in the 8th (yeah, no real options).

Unluckiest inning imaginable. Fuck.

I know Ruiz hasn’t been great…But I’m not sure in what world a rookie starter in the 8th was a better idea than Ruiz

This game is collapsing quickly and we deserve it running this roster…

The ball hasn't left the infield

Team does not want to get to .500

Tell me if you've ever seen Tim Anderson make a great defensive play when it mattered. I'm legit having trouble remembering any.

Fire Tony chant going again. Good.

Fire Tony chants alive and well

And now Vlad facing Davis Martin.  The high-leverage matchup we all wanted to see.

Our defense was better when Timmy was out

The management of this bullpen as an organization is embarrassing

TLR is throwing Cease and his performance under the bus with the relievers he is throwing out there, two AAA pitchers in a close game late.  And the dreaded lead off walk comes in to tie the game.

yuck. gross. icky.

The good ol fire Tony chants are alive and well….I love it

A couple of weakly hit balls and Tim Anderson's pattensed gold glove D and we are now down

Honestly, can’t blame Tony or the bullpen for this one.  13 LOB, a base-running miscue, and blowing a catchable ball are the culprits tonight.

Teams make their own luck.

We’re pitching the bottom of the bullpen one game after having a day off.  This is pathetic

That wouldn't have even been a great play. He took a bad route and it ended up behind him.

It's most likely 2-1 in the bottom of the 8th if Tim makes that damn catch.

Or VV.

I mean, Martin was the 29th or 30th guy in the MLB worst system.

Throwing long relief is completely different from high leverage against the Jays.

And they’ve scored 2 runs but we can’t get any runs with a runner on 3rd with one out. Pathetic!
