It's what good teams do. Exploit the weaknesses of the other team. If by some miracle the Sox make it in the playoffs through their "easy" 2nd half schedule, you can bet your ass their opponents will be taking note of games like these.

Even the announcers can see he's not running comfortably and that every base runner is going to take the extra base.

If we lose this game, LaRussa has to go or might as well throw in the towel.  This team is going nowhere with TLR at the helm.  He doesn’t manage with the sense of urgency needed, not using his best resources and worrying about resting guys that we need in the lineup to win.
