He was still hitting 99 in the 9th inning. Retired 23 in a row at one point. He'll be the best SP on the trade market if the Giants make him available.

2017 3rd round draft pick Luis Gonzalez also back for the Giants.  0-4.

I'd think that has to be the end of his big league career. He's cooked.

 

 

Nomar Mazara hitting cleanup tonight at .307 between Machado and Luke Voit against Scherzer.

Trayce Thompson had game-tying double last night vs. Giants.

Yermin has also hit cleanup this season for SF.

Jake Lamb, Mazara, & Yermin all hit cleanup for contenders today. Small sample, but Lamb has been raking with the Dodgers. Up to a 150 wRC+ now.

Didnt realize he was playing for the red sox... saw him get an rbi double to put them up against the Guardians.

He pitched in the game where the Red Sox allowed ~29 runs or whatever. It's nice to see him still hanging around the big leagues.

When I was watching the Dodgers and Giants a few days ago all the ex Sox were playing, Yermin was in LF, Luis Gonzalez was playing. Trace Thompson was a hero with 2 big hits and a super catch over the railing in foul territory in LF and Lamb got a big knock.

I'd rather have Yolmer than Garcia on this team. That's the level Garcia has driven me towards.

I'll believe that when they have a Nick Madrigal bobblehead. Come to think of it Yolmer might be better than Leury at some things and he has a Gold Glove.

Yes. Properly managed in a part time DH/LF role, he has an .853 OPS.
