  • Yet he still stays in the game. No wonder these assholes never learn, there’s no accountability unless you homer on a 3-0 pitch

  • Tim Anderson took that a bit too literally

  • Will be at this game too like last night  So far this year... Went to Boston - white sox won Went to Wrigley - white sox won Went to Colorado- white sox won Need to keep it go

Man if you think we hit a lot of grounders in Coors what do Rockies fans say about the Rockies?

Shhhhhhhhhh Tony might hear you, after all he played Fisk in LF, Fisk had rarely played outfield before and was there for only 31 games, during which he made 4 errors.

Didn't Hawk make him play Fisk there?

Lol double plays all day

Neither is Lynn. Kopech has his issues missing bats. Sox SP is only slightly better than Minnesota's.

Did you even see his last start against Cleveland ?

We are getting from Cueto what we expected from Gio, or vice versa.

Parkman hasn't asserted we should  decline arbitration to him quite yet, though.

You can't nontender Gio. There's no path to a winning team without him. You have to count on him getting back to his better self.

Calm down we're not that bad if this staff stays healthy.

The problem is how long can Kopech and Cueto realistically hang in there in the dog days of August?

Yes, I watched that game. Lynn still sucks, and he was still throwing 90-92 mph for a large portion of that game.

Just because Cleveland didn't hit him that day, doesn't really mean anything. Giolito has had good starts too.

Shhh, remember everything is Tony's fault.

But yes, it was Hawk and evidence that the two couldn't work together.

Great , get back in the game and 2 walks to open the inning. Need the GB DP badly.

Cueto has been around, he should be OK, Kopech, I'm not sure.

Earn some of your coin Leury.

I guess so according to another poster, I thought it was Tony.  Watching Moneyball recently and Billy Bean didn't have control over who Art Howe put in the line-up and I can't believe Tony wouldn't have fought hard if he was against it. After all it was 31 games and 4 errors.

sometimes Giolito gets out of sync with his mechanics, then he gets in sync with his mechanics. Seems bizarre to throw the spider tack stuff in (it's the new steroids bullshit of this board, and I remember when CEASE was the spidertack accused).

Last year in the first half he had a 4 era. In the second, a 2.65 era. He's having a bad stretch. He's our new konerko. And just like with konerko, with every extended slump this board will claim he's about to be DFAd.

JFC was that embarrassing, but luckily it worked out for Legend

Has to be worth at least 43 cents.

Way to earn your money Leury.

This offense is so bad, only 1 flyball so far

The Yaz Lucas hate is really something here.

FTFY

Didn't see any Grandal bashing in the thread, only praise of his bounceback offensively since his return.

Leury swinging at that trash is the best decision he's made at the plate all game

Leury Ball Attack.

Terrible swing Leury but as luck would have it he's on 1B and just guaranteed another week of being in the line-up everyday.
