We need more ground balls, keep preaching that approach!

Putting the word "cease" into a game thread on days when Cease is not pitching is somewhat confusing.

29 Year Anniversary of Robin Ventura getting pummeled by Nolan Ryan. Sox should play in TX every August 4th to commemorate.

I don't blame him, blame the front office and coaching staff

5 extra base hits in 240 PA's for Grandal

Another ground ball. Lmao.

The corpse of Grandal will weakly ground out

Called that one

Fucking worthless

We’re going to be paying 45 million or so next year for those three guys who made outs.  Hahn sucks

0-18.

Why do guys not get hurt when we want them to?

Was his last hit in Colorado?

Grandal now 0 for his last 20.

Just following on gameday, how mad is everyone

Everyone knows I’m anti-Sox management/ownership. BUT, I must give credit when credit is due. Hahn made a brilliant signing of Cueto. The big question is will he spend the money to keep him next year if he doesn’t fall apart in September.

If he continues to pitch this good, he will command more then the one million or so the Sox got him for. I’m guessing he’ll want 2 years 5 or 6 million per year.
Don’t know at his age if that would be worth it.

Seby's not good, but he at least can hit the ball out of the infield.

Kind of unreal management/ownership can be THIS inept

Moncada is just awful.  Taking another 3 rd strike looking. Leaving 6 men on base so far.  No way he should be hitting 6 th.  No higher than 7 th and Grandal should be hitting 9th.  These 2 guys are killing all possible rallies.

Sox have had lead off man on 5 of 6 innings, I believe

I’m not giving any credit to Hahn, he panic signed Cueto when Lynn went down. I’m throwing shade at the other teams in the league for not signing Cueto before RH reluctantly got lucky. And Cueto is making 4-5 mil this year just fyi.

Jesus Christ Vaughn sucks

My god Vaughn is so slow.  Fuck this organization for thinking this defense is acceptable.

Not.  An. Outfielder.

One of these years the Sox front office will start to place value on defense
