Vaughn is obviously one of those dreaded "one sport athletes". He has zero athleticism. It is criminal they make him play the outfield.

He's the 2nd best hitter on the team, but worth less than 1 WAR cause his defense is negative double digit runs bad. 

What about hit and run with Abreu at bat and Robert at first.  Odds of success higher than letting Abreu hit into another double play.
