“I have one more thing to say”

I didn’t watch a single pitch in innings 5-9, missed what seems to be one of the best wins of the year, and I don’t regret it.

I had the game on my iPad muted and the real entertainment of the night on my TV.

Hahaha wow

TLR must only take advice from other old people that yell at him.

Or the fan woke TLR up and he realized he needed to make a sub.

So we need to figure out a way to get smart fans behind the dugout every game

My God. That is equal parts amazing and embarrassing. Bless that fan.

He’s so done after this year no matter what

Thank you, Dusty Baker.

He must have wanted to imitate the HOF manager TLR.

What did the fan shout?   What did TLR or Cairo/Narron overlook now?

That is utterly hilarious and sad but man such a nice win today against a good team.

We own Verlander...or at least we did that Saturday afternoon earlier this season.

Career-wise, not so much...

First time 4 games over .500 since 6-2 and then the long losing streak...

“My art is in the dugout” - Tony LaRussa in 2019 when being introduced as the new White Sox manager.

Presume he is referring to fake art.

Not TLR though.

Liam isn't normally a nibbler, kind of odd for him actually

It's why he walks so few.  Too few, sez I.  He could stand to nibble a little more, even at the cost of a couple more walks.  His flat fastball down the middle is very hittable, esp. if it's not mixed in with some breaking stuff.

It's never easy

Yes indeed.  We have very few blowouts.

@tray, make sure to sit in the bleachers from here on out

LaRussa was in the dugout and not looking at or listening to the old guy yelling "Hey Tony get Engel..."

That decision was made in the dugout and required Tony to get out of the dugout to call time out...not to listen to fans in the stands.

. How fvking gullible and stupid can some fans be?

Minnesota 22000 at home vs. KC, White Sox 18000 vs Astros, Cleveland 17000 gate for non-split DH against DET.

That’s quite interesting.

Grandal, Leury and Kimbrel definitely helped make things interesting last night!

And it showed. The guy is one Josh Harrison error away from 16 shutout innings against one of the best teams in baseball.

Maybe it’s just me but I feel much more confident in a playoff series against the Astros with a starting rotation of Cease/Cueto/Kopech/Giolito than the Lynn/Giolito/Cease/Rodon they used last year.

Engel-Gate

Too funny.

Almost like an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm

Agreed. People like to pile on for any supposed reason.
