Decision to play or not is not with home team if it's the last time visitor is in town that season.  It's MLB's call -- not managers or Guardians.

Blue sky and the sun is out. They haven't done a thing to the field in over an hour. They didn't want to face Cease on a short turn around from last night. 

Cleveland is real good at postponing games they don't want to play. 

 

Is this a bad thing?  Cease v KC and move Giolito to a weaker opponent AZ. 

Anderson and Grandal could be back as well when next they play.

The Sox can't hit and I'm certain the Indians don't fear the White Sox.

Dugouts have been cleared of equipment.  Looks like no game will be played today.  Probably not announced yet so the fans at the park keep spending at concession stands.  They just announced the game will not be played today.

Cease against the team you are chasing trumps any benefit IMO. 

Seems pretty ridiculous this game got cancelled. Typically it’s because the forecast looks bad, this is just a shitty field which is ridiculous for an MLB field.
