The game against the Orioles i was at, the OF defense was night and day.  They made us look foolish.  No change yesterday.

I gave up on this team last August. One of the smartest decisions I've made for my wallet and mental health.

That Varsho catch on a hop was ridiculous.  That ball probably goes to the wall when a player tries to catch it on a short hop running toward it and diving.  That was  actually poor judgment by Varsho that worked out for him and kept a run from scoring.  Meanwhile, Romy's ball was a foot or two from going out. Abreu just needed a touch more oomph on the line drive to the gap. Sox seem cursed this season and I am saying that as someone who is kind of agnostic about such things.  Almost every damn close call or break seems to go against us. Engel missing a routine fly last night that cost a game? WTF? 

I hate this season

This is a guy that can't stay healthy as a DH because it involves swinging a bat and running the bases.

It’s like I’m watching the baseball version of the Washington Generals. The Sox are just there to make the other team (whoever they are) look good. 
Everyone playing against the Sox shows effort to the point of making highlight reels. The Sox players can’t run to first without hurting themselves. 
I feel like that game where the Sox just hit 12 singles with no extra bare hits would have been 6 singles and 6 extra base hits for just about any other team. 
Fixing this can’t be as simple as firing Tony, can it?  I mean the potential was there and then shit fell apart when he showed up. Everyone on the team has underperformed according to their career numbers. Is that just a fluke?

There is no outfield defense for homers.  If we would have been hitting more homers, we take all these nice outfielders out of the equation.  But with our ground ball offense and warning track power we put opponents outfielders in play.

This is such an unlikable organization, from the top down, right now.

Seeing Harrison survive an entire season looking so overmatched offensively gives me little hope that Hahn knows how to evaluate ML baseball talent.

Hahn watches different baseball games than the ones we do.

Tony, Hahn and Menechino need to go immediately after the season, along with the training staff.
